Living Well with PPA
“Living Well with PPA” is a six-week online support program designed to provide a safe space so that people newly diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia can cope with their diagnosis together. Each interactive one-hour session will provide an outlet to learn and find support with others in the same situation.
Participants will:
- Learn more about their PPA diagnosis
- Meet others who were also recently diagnosed
- Share their feelings with others as they process and cope with the changes they may be experiencing
- Discover ways to self-advocate when speaking with healthcare professionals
- Obtain resources that will help them on their journey
This support program will begin in September 2023. If you are interested, contact the AFTD HelpLine at 866.507.7222 or info@theaftd.org
