Trener Los Angeles Rams, Zac Robinson, okazuje wsparcie dla misji AFTD za pomocą specjalnych knag
Zac Robinson, quarterback coach and pass game coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams, will don special AFTD-themed cleats this weekend to support AFTD and raise FTD awareness during the NFL’s “My Cause My Cleats” event.
„My Cause My Cleats,” held during this weekend’s NFL games, allows players and coaches to wear custom cleats promoting charities, organizations, and causes. For Robinson, whose late father, Rusty, was diagnosed with FTD a few years ago, raising awareness of the disease was the first thing that came to mind.
Robinson characterized his family’s FTD journey as happening in “waves,” with Rusty’s symptoms fluctuating in severity over time.
“It’s hard, and you [have] to just truly cherish every single day,” Robinson said. “It was really hard on our family, especially my mom, who was there every single day.” Robinson said that he hoped that his involvement would help support AFTD’s mission.
“Just raising the awareness is the biggest thing,” Robinson said. “Whatever comes from that is all great.”
Robinson will wear his AFTD-themed cleats during the Rams’ game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, December 4 (4:05 Eastern, 1:05 Pacific).
