Duke Health is recruiting patients with Alzheimer’s, frontotemporal dementia, mild cognitive impairment, Parkinson’s, Down syndrome, multiple sclerosis, PTSD, concussion, traumatic brain injury, dementia, or other neurodegenerations for a study to take noninvasive pictures of the retina in your eyes. No x-rays, no eye drops and no eye contact. Compensation for time/travel. You may be eligible for this research study if you:

  • Do not have a significant head tremor
  • Are not in a wheelchair
  • Have not had prior retina surgery
  • Are willing to have some undilated pictures of your retina
