Dr. Leila Allen, a neuroscientist and the founding director of the behavioral neuroscience undergraduate program at Florida International University, will be speaking at a TEDx Miami event called “Stories of Resilience.” Dr. Allen’s talk will focus on brain resiliency and will address both FTD and Alzheimer’s.

The event will take place on May 15 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the New World Center in Miami Beach (500 17th Street).
