Produkcja „Niezwykłej playlisty Zoey” zostanie wznowiona, emisja przewidziana na 2021 rok

Jane Levy Zoey

Niezwykła playlista Zoey Jest heading back into production this week, as revealed during E! Entertainment’s virtual “Red Carpet” coverage of the 72II Emmy Awards.

Branded as a “dramedy,” the new NBC show centers on a young woman who gains the ability to hear the innermost thoughts of people around her as songs and musical numbers. This newfound ability allows Zoey to connect with her father, Mitch, who is living with progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) and unable to speak. The show’s creator, Austin Winsberg, czerpał inspirację do opowiadania from his late father’s journey with the disease.

Winsberga recently spoke with AFTD about his family’s journey with PSP, as well as his desire to ensure an accurate depiction of the disease.

“Virtually every family story we told in season one of Niezwykła playlista Zoey was based on something that happened in my own house,” he said. “It was very important to me that the depiction of PSP on the show be incredibly real and true to my own experience.”

While NBC is yet to announce a specific premiere date for season two, the show is expected to resume sometime next year. While it’s unclear what twists and turns the plotline has in store, or if Peter Gallagher will return as Mitch, it has been announced that Harvey Guillén, of FX’s What We Do in the Shadows has been added to the cast.

The show, which premiered in January, is considered to be one of NBC’s strongest digital performers. Although not nominated for any primetime Emmy Awards, show choreographer Mandy Moore (not the actress) won a juried award for “Outstanding Choreography for Scripted Programming” for the musical routines: “All I Do Is Win”, “I’ve Got the Music in Me” I “Crazy”.

Serial jest dostępny do transmisji strumieniowej Hulu Youtube.
