John Kammerer is running the Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati, OH on May 3, 2020 in honor of his father, John, who was diagnosed with FTD at the age of 58. Joining him in the race are his three friends: Chris Hanson, Tom Ohlman, and Spencer Liechty—each of whom will run a leg of the marathon as part of a four-person relay team.

John is raising funds to support AFTD’s mission, and on his fundraising page, he shares memories of his father’s support of his athletic endeavors. John writes: “He watched every one of my cross country and track races. Without him I would not be the man I am today. He constantly tells me to ‘keep up the good work’.”
